Our Journey
Established in 2006, the NID Development Institute was founded to promote social and economic empowerment among rural and urban women through social animation, inspired by the Isuru Project of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Upon the successful completion of these projects, it was decided to continue these programs voluntarily in collaboration with various institutions.
Building on years of experience in social empowerment and development, our institute is committed to strengthening individuals in need by providing structured and impactful services. With the support of a team of expert faculty, we officially registered under the name NID Development Institute to deliver these services systematically and sustainably.
